Dr. Stephanie was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she graduated from Forest Hills Central High School. She completed her undergraduate education at Kalamazoo College with a BA degree in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

She received her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated with Honors in Research and also received the Horace Wells Award for excellence in dental anesthesia. Stephanie received a certificate in dental anesthesia from Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York. While in residency, Stephanie volunteered in Cucuta, Colombia with Healing the Children for a cleft lip and palate mission trip.

After completing her dental anesthesia residency, Stephanie completed her training in pediatric dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. She received the Resident Recognition Award for her innovative oral health education and literacy program, “Books, Brushing, and Bedtime.”

Stephanie is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Anesthesiology, a Fellow of General Anesthesia in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), and a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesia (ABDA) and National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA). Stephanie is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
